Four Core Purposes

Gwaunmeisgyn is preparing for the new curriculum which should come into effect in 2022. Underpinning the new curriculum are four core purposes which will be at the heart of all learning. They are the starting point for all decisions on content and experiences developed as part of the curriculum to support our learners to be:

• Ambitious, capable learners

• Ethical, informed citizens

• Healthy, confident individuals

• Enterprising, creative contributors
